Lake Mary, FL. — August 18, 2011 – Progressive Communications International (PCI) was a major winner in the 2011 Florida Print Awards. PCI Won 12 Best of Category awards, 10 Award of Excellence honors and 38 Judges Award recognitions. PCI’s in-house Design Group designed two of the winning Best of Category entries.

Held by the Printing Association of Florida (PAF), the Florida Print Awards recognize those who produce the best in print media. This year’s awards ceremony was held August 5 at Lowes Royal Pacific at Universal Orlando.

As a Best of Category winner, PCI was automatically entered in the Printing Industries of America’s Premier Print Awards competition. PCI then received the coveted honor of a 2011 Benny Award, which represents the top level of excellence in the printing industry worldwide. PCI won the Benny for the Isleworth Collegiate Journal. PCI also received two Premier Print Awards Certificates of Merit for the Orlando Utilities Commission History booklets and the Tavistock Gala Invite.

PCI’s winning entries included brochures, postcards, calendars, catalogues, corporate sales kits and marketing books.

“Winning this number of awards from an organization with PAF’s high standards is a clear testament of how everything comes together at PCI,” said Gabe Hernandez, PCI General Manager. “We have state-of-the-art equipment and printing technology, but consistently producing work of this quality takes people who have the experience, knowledge and commitment of our team members. We focus on delivering the very best for our clients, and it’s good to see our efforts acknowledged by these awards.”
