Software developer Macromedia, who seek to recognize and help promote websites based on their use of strong visual designs, superior functionalities, and innovative uses of Macromedia products, has awarded Lake Mary, FL based Progressive Communications a coveted Macromedia Site of the Day Award for its Dress-The-Turkey game (www.dresstheturkey.com).

Progressive Communications created a cruelty-free, interactive game that enables visitors to appropriately dress a turkey for Thanksgiving. Users can send an e-card of the turkey they dressed with the background of their choosing to a friend.

“Dress-The-Turkey has been a huge viral success,” says Interactive Creative Director Luke Knowles. Progressive Communications sent out 1,400 emails to clients and prospective clients on November 11. As of November 30, Dress-The-Turkey has had over 25,000 visitors whom spent an average of 4 minutes on the site.
