As of February 18, 2002, Direct Marketing Resources (DMR), one of the largest producers of Direct Marketing and Fulfillment in Central Florida, is merging with Progressive Communications International (PCI), a sister company and long standing commercial printer that has been in business in Central Florida for more than 25 years. The merged companies will be named “Progressive Communications International”.

DMR/PCI are joining forces after listening to the demands of the marketplace for a “single-source” solution, thus saving them valuable time and money. “We are excited about the merger and the opportunities it will bring. Our companies combined will create the single largest provider of print, fulfillment and direct marketing services, ’under one roof’, in the region”, said Troy Barnes, PCI General Manager. The companies will continue to operate from their current facilities in Lake Mary and Apopka, while searching for a larger facility to move into later this year. The new company will employ over 130 people and occupy more than 80,000 square feet of operations in Seminole County, FL.

DMR and PCI are a division of Taylor Corporation. Founded in 1975, Taylor Corporation owns and operates more than 80 companies in 19 states, three Canadian provinces, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia, Sweden and Mexico. Taylor employs over 16,000 employees worldwide and is recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of print and communication products and services in the U.S. Progressive Communications offers “single source” integrated marketing communications and fulfillment solutions.
