PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager will work closely with the client and design team to coordinate, execute, and traffic design, print and mail projects.

Qualifications:

Validation of scope of projects

  • Defines and prepares work orders for all departments
  • Coordinates requests from clients
  • Suggests cost and production effecencies
  • Receives and evaluates the creative briefs, gathers any missing information
  • Provides client with status and reporting
  • Prepares – estimates and billing information
  • Provides effective solutions – troubleshoots
  • Communicates with multiple vendors
  • Knowledge of print and mail production

WEB DEVELOPER

A Web Developer at Progressive Communications is an expert in using the dynamic programming tools, languages and databases that fuel the Web. This person will work as part of a team building integrated marketing campaigns. The position will involve programming public websites and data methods that are part of stunning, multi-channel marketing campaigns including customized variable print products (Xerox IGEN), email and tailored direct mail. The role is to make it work, which means developing web applications and testing them to ensure the best experience for the user and our clients. The position may also involve programming of highly customized email projects, assist with data driven marketing programs and finding efficient client-server solutions. You must have an in-depth understanding of the software development life cycle and be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions.

Qualifications:

Experience
At least 3 years. Proof of multiple start-to-finish web projects including database development.

SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Work with an award-winning team of creative professionals developing high quality print ads, brochures, direct mail pieces, as well as a full range of other print and electronic artwork.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in graphic design preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience working as a graphic designer in an agency environment or in-house marketing department
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Works in Mac environment
  • Detail oriented – pays close attention to typography, image quality and content accuracy
  • Must be comfortable taking direction (and criticism) from account executives and creative team
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Strong visual/design sense
  • Knowledge of printing and production – (pre-press operations: separations, bleeds, crop marks, postscript/PDF file formats, preparing for outsource, etc)
  • Knowledge of papers and print techniques

Duties:

  • Work in collaboration with other full-time graphic designers, printers, copywriters, account executives, web designers and marketing specialists under direction of creative director or art director
  • Meet with clients to interpret business objectives
  • Use innovation to redefine a design brief to meet the constraints of cost and time to customer
  • Develop layouts for brochures, direct mail pieces, newsletters, and other collateral materials
  • Develop corporate ID programs (logos) and graphic standards
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas
  • Create mock-ups of concepts for client presentations
  • Help research and coordinate project services or specialty products used for projects
  • Follow existing graphic standards for certain client accounts
  • Identify appropriate stock photography for layouts
  • Retouch photography
  • Prepare artwork for production

  • Ability to layout and code email communications a PLUS!

  • Work in collaboration with other full-time graphic designers under direction of art director
  • Follow existing graphic standards for client work

  • Create mock-ups of concepts for client presentations
  • Prepare artwork for production
  • Identify appropriate stock photography for layouts
  • Convert files to various formats
  • Retouch photography
